LiLash Reviews: The Truth About LiLash Reviews

Have you tried everything out there to grow out your thin stubby lashes? Spackling on layers of mascara? Smothering your lashes in castor oil (which doesn’t work btw)? Or various eyelash conditioners just to be underwhelmed and discouraged?

There’s so many eyelash growth products on the market now that you’ll waste valuable time and money just trying to find something that isn’t a scam.

Well don’t give up hope yet. I’m going to save you hours of disappointment and show you a product that actually works. This is the real deal folks. I’m writing this LiLash stimulator review based on my own experience with the product.

LiLash - Purified Eyelash Stimulator

At first glance, LiLash looks just like all the other eyelash growth products out there. It is one of the more expensive ones, costing $139.97 for one tube. I was hesitant at first, but there’s a 90 day money back guarantee and an offer for free UPS ground shipping. I figured what the heck, if it doesn’t work, then I’ll just ask for a refund.

The key to using LiLash is to use it once, not twice a day and to use very little of it. Just put on a single swipe across your top lashline. This point is stressed on the packaging and website, do not apply LiLash to both your top and bottom lashes or you’ll end up with stinging and irritation.

I can testify that LiLash is gentle enough for sensitive eyes (like mine) so long as it is applied correctly. I remember reading some LiLash Reviews where people claimed LiLash caused stinging and red eye. Well apparently they were applying more than the recommended amount and using LiLash on both their top and bottom lashes, exactly what the directions tell you not to do! No wonder their eyes were irritated. Less is definitely more especially with eyelash conditioners that are used so close to the eyes.

Just a thin swipe on your top lashes is all you need. As with many other things in life, read the fine print and follow directions…

After anxiously checking my lashes every chance I had for two weeks, I finally saw some changes in my eyelashes. I could have been losing my mind, but my short lashes were starting to have a slight curl!

Apparently I wasn’t hallucinating as my lashes now brush against my glasses. My mornings are so much simpler now that I don’t have to mess with layers of lengthening mascara and false lashes everyday.

Now I’m not going to claim that LiLash will turn you into a supermodel or anything like that, this isn’t one of those paid LiLash Reviews. But for an eyelash growth product that actually grows longer looking eyelashes, LiLash is definitely worth its weight in gold.

Latisse Eyelash Extender | How Much Does Latisse Eyelash Growth Cost?

If you want to grow longer eyelashes, then you’ve probably heard of the newest eyelash growth product on the market. This eyelash stimulator is currently the only one that’s approved by the FDA. The Latisse eyelash lengthener serum is a drug (bimatoprost ophthalmic solution) manufactured by the pharmaceutical company Allergan. So just how much does Latisse eyelash growth cost?

Latisse lash growth stimulator contains a prostaglandin that was originally used to treat glaucoma patients. Later, it was discovered that one of the side effects of this drug was longer eyelashes in the patients that used the drug. Unfortunately, in addition to longer eyelashes, another side effect was that the pupils of people who used this eye drop noticed their eye color started changing and becoming darker. Other common side effects of Latisse are red eye, stinging, irritation, dry eyes, and sensitivity to light.

So is it worth it to pay so much for Latisse? One box of Latisse only lasts two months and it is one of the slower eyelash growth products on the market. The company states that it takes at least 12 weeks to begin noticing eyelash growth. Plus, since it is a prescription drug, you’ll have to get a doctor’s prescription which means time out of your busy day to go to the doctor, a co-pay, and paying for the prescription at the pharmacy. Most likely you’ll have to pay full price since Latisse is not covered by most insurance companies. For a two month supply of Latisse, you will end up paying close to $200 and that’s even before you start seeing results.

So how much does Latisse eyelash growth cost? Too much! Instead you should get a non prescription eyelash conditioner.

I’d rather buy another eyelash growth product such as LiLash for a little over $100 that lasts for 6 months and you’ll begin noticing longer looking eye lashes in just 2 weeks rather than 12. Hmmm… a no brainer here really, unless you have mountains of cash to burn that is.

LiLash Side Effects

One of the problems with eyelash growth products and eyelash growth stimulators are the side effects that often occur with using them. Some people have reported LiLash side effects such as irritation and red eye. These side effects are a double edged sword. They mean that the eyelash growth stimulator actually has the active ingredient that will make your eyelashes grow longer. On the other hand, the irritation and stinging can turn you off of using these products. The good thing is, the side effects are temporary and stop once you stop using the product.

So what are the LiLash side effects people have reported? The most common side effects of LiLash include red eye and stinging. However, in all these reported cases, it turns out that the women were applying the product incorrectly. It states clearly in the product directions to only apply LiLash once a day and only on the top lash line. Applying too much eyelash growth product can irritate your eyes because the lash serum will leak into your eyes.

So what is the correct way to apply LiLash without side effects? First, you’ll wan to wipe off your applicator wand as you pull it out of the tube of LiLash. Then, close your eyes and hold your eyelid taut like you’re going to apply eyeliner. Swipe the applicator with a tiny amount of LiLash across the skin at your top lash line. If you find that LiLash still gets into your eyes and stings, apply LiLash a bit above your lash line. The product will still run down a little and get to your hair follicles, but it won’t leak into your eyes.

Now here’s the important part. DO NOT apply LiLash to your bottom lashes! This is why people keep saying that LiLash hurts their eyes! They are using way too much of the eyelash growth product. After you’ve applied LiLash once a day to your top lashes, just blink quickly a few times and the eyelash growth stimulator will get on your bottom eyelash line. That’s all you need!

Just follow these simple directions and you’ll get longer looking lashes in weeks without any pain, irritation, or other side effects. Using more eyelash growth product than recommended will not speed up your lash growth. Even though some people reported stinging as LiLash side effects from using LiLash incorrectly, there have been no other side effects of LiLash like eye color changing unlike with Revitalash. If you want to be cautious or have extremely sensitive eyes, check out Enormous Lash which has no irritating ingredients or MariniLash by Jan Marini. Both of these eyelash growers have gotten great reviews and there’s no complaints of irritation that I know of.
